The Dawn is Breaking

WARNING!! SPOILERS ARE AHEAD!

So, let's just say that one of the reasons I went down to Utah was for the Breaking Dawn release party in Provo/Orem. Let's just say, one of the most crazy experiences EVER. Well, maybe not that crazy, but uhh... it was intense.
So that whole day we had been on the road, driving from Boise to Provo which is about a 6 or 7 hour drive. Ew. Anyways we gt in to Twilight mood of course... by listening to Twilight on tape. MY mom had never read the books so we got her to read Twilight. But, the mission to have all of the Dew ladies in love with the books, failed. Mother was not obsessed. Sad.
So finally, we got there and dinked around for a couple of hours because the part didnt start until like 9:30 or 10 anyways. We decided to make some sweet shirts, so we could win the contest. And I must say, our shirts were AWESOME! Here, take a look:
Kaitlin: Pale is the new Black(front) Vampires SUCK [in a good way] (back)

Melissa: ...And a HOT place

Brynn: STUCK between a rock...

So mine and Melissa's shirts go together so it would be stuck between a rock and a hot place. Clever, huh? So it's like stuck between Edward and Jacob. Don't you just love Melissa's fur collar? Mine had rhinestones all over it. Pretty sweet, huh?
So we got there finally after scrambling to get our shirts done and let's just say, it was a mad house in there. Let's just say there are SO many Twilight crazies there... WOW.
But the sucky part was that we didn't even win the contest! Some dumb girl dressed up as Alice and her shirt said, "I already know what happens". Seriously? Whatever, I'm over it.
So...fast forward through all of the waiting/ANNOYING Harry Potter fans behind us being dumb dumbs, going to Smiths and getting energy drinks and cookie dough, and finally getting into comfy clothes, we opened the book and started reading.

SPOILERS NOW!!!!!

Okay, so after reading the book the first time, I kind of actually didn't like it. Which is so surprising to me since I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Stephenie's books and writing. I was like... what?... through the entire book. I thought that it could not be possible that I wouldn't like this book. I mean, I have been waiting for this book for like... ever.
So, since I am kind of stubborn and I force myself to do a lot of things, I took to re-reading the book a second time. And honestly, I really do kind of love it now. And no, I did not force myself to love it. I only have a couple of problems with it.

1. Okay, so I was so pumped for someone to die. But no one did. Except for Irina. That one was gay. No one knew her really, so why even put her in? And then kill her. Seriously, grow some, Stephenie and kill Jasper. Just kidding, don't kill him. I love him. Maybe Renee or Sam or something.
   
2. Speaking of Renee.... Reneesme? WHAT?! Is that a serious name? Or is she/Bella on serious heavy duty crack? I really do hate that name. Like Russia hates Georgia. I say ReNOsme.
3. I kind of hate the whole part where Paul imprinted on Rebecca. No, Paul needs to end up alone or until he gets into some serious anger management classes.
4. I wanted Leah to imprint on someone! Why is she alone and Paul with Jacob's sister?
5. The Romanian vampires. ... yeah they just kind of creep me out. I wish the Volturi would have killed them or something.
   
6. I thought it was weird that Jessica and Mike still ended up together. Why that bothers me... I don't have a sure answer, but I just don't know about that.
   
7. Bella being preggo was beyond weird. It brought weird images to my mind. Plus sometimes it was over the top how she would like, drink blood. EW. SO. GROSS. Plus, she hated blood. And I hate when it described her belly. Can you say, T.M.I?

Other thoughts? Yes:

1. Bella turning into a vampire... loved it. Her power? Not so much. I wanted her to be like... Super Vampire. Like... be able to have every power, you know? Well, maybe I'll save that for my power when I turn into a vampire. And it will happen, trust me.
   
2. Reneesme's power. Pretty sweet. But she is pretty lazy for a vampire. "Oh, I don't feel like speaking" and smacks her little hand on your face. Mmm, I'm pretty sure if I could talk when I was a couple of months old, I would totally talk all the time.
3. Jacob becoming an Alpha. SO HOT. Like, if I could, I would seriously ask him to love me.
   
4. I LOVE SETH CLEARWATER! He is so cute.
5. I can't believe I am saying this, but I kind of hated Alice for leaving. I'm sorry, Alice. I still totally love you.
6. I really like how Stephenie split the book in three books.
   
7. I love Jacob's book chapter titles. Like a lot. Life sucks, and then you die. Brilliant.
   
8. I freaking love Emmett Cullen. He was so funny in this book.

So, I guess that's it. If I have more, i'll make another post.

YES IT IS!

it's a new update! Woohoo! Aren't you proud of me? Well, I am proud of myself. 

but ANYWAYS....

It's now the middle of August, which is awesome. But that means schools starts in like... 2 weeks. Whoa, that hit me hard. So weird that I am now going to high school, but I am so excited. This summer I have been pretty busy, with being home for a week and a half total in the month of July and still haven't been him since the start of August, because I went to the Breaking Dawn opening premiere party in Provo(Orem, if you know where that is), which was CRAZY!!! But I will have more of my adventures in Utah in later blogs, which I PROMISE I will get to as soon as I can. I also spent a week on the beautiful BYU campus to go to EFY. Again, awesome. And then from that I have been kickin' it with Matt and Kaitlin until Kaitlin's graduation from college.
